Crest Lanes Weekend

Jan 22, 2023

We started the weekend with our No tap event, where we had our largest no tap crowd in awhile. We started the day with two 300 games, but neither of them got in our ‘300’ pot.

Neal Nakandakare never let up as he led all day, with games of 300, 288, 224, 244, and 244 for a 260 five game average.

Because we had 64 entries, we were able to pay 16 spots with the 17th spot getting a free entry into our Crest Scratch event on January 22.

Scratch event

On Sunday, we stayed at Crest and bowled on the 39′ Bracket Challenge Radioactive pattern. Nick Johnston led most of the day, but a big move left and ball change allowed David Christopher to move around him for the qualifying lead after 5. Christopher had games of 178-198-196-253-256 for a 1081 five game total. We had 42 entries, so we cut to the top 10, with David and Nick getting a two round bye into the semi-finals.

We had a tie for 10th, between Ben Snyder and Brian Miller, with Ben taking the 1 game roll off and pushing Miller to the High Senior out of cash spot.
